Project Management
The new building project management includes working out functional specifications, technical discussions with shipyards, assisting in contract negotiations, drawing approval, and on-site supervision. The new building supervision team consist of:
- Former shipyard staff.
- Naval architects and marine engineers.
- Mechanical and electrical engineers.
- Senior ship staff
- Steel/outfitting foremen
- Drawing, specification, and contract review
The review and approval of the building specification is the most critical stage for the preparation of the project and should be thoroughly reviewed prior to contract signing.
- P.I reviews these documents and particular clauses with respect to precise wording in order to identify and avoid potential negative consequences arising during the construction phase.
- P.I thoroughly checks key drawings and manuals, load calculations, working plans, and relevant technical data submitted by the shipbuilder and as agreed in the shipbuilding contract.
- P.I co-ordinates the entire process with the CLASS and Flag state as required.
Supervision of Construction
Supervision and inspection of the construction throughout until completion, sea trials and delivery of vessel are done by P.I Ship management on behalf of the owner and end-user. Quality control and HSE management .Quality control and HSE policies are implemented during the complete process.
SECOND-HAND TONNAGE
P.I are highly experienced in the sale and purchase markets for the second-hand tonnage and marine – offshore – dredging equipment
We extend this service to clients who wish to purchase or sell their vessels. Our close relation with ship owners, shipbuilders, investors, charterers, operators, ship repair yards, and other shipping professionals, combined with the experience of P.I enables us to add value to every transaction.
DEMOLITION SALE
We are experts in sale of vessels that need to go for demolition ( Scrapping ) . In the past years we sold numerous ships to breakers yards in India , Pakistan , Bangladesh and Turkey and have strong relations with first class various direct breakers / and Ship cash buyers who always ready to purchase and take delivery on basis as is / where is or basis delivery scrap yards.
We assist clients selling the ships as is where is basis , and can also undertake Mobilizations from the place the vessel is at to the ship breaking yards as a turnkey solution with our crew who will either re-activate the vessel /s or as a tow depending on the condition .
